Mike D’Ettorre

With over 20 years of media buying experience for political campaigns across the United States, Mike has worked with all levels of political office seekers. Mike worked for one of the most prominent Democratic media consulting firms for over 16 years in Shorr Johnson Magnus. Since its conception in 2019, Grassroots Media has quickly grown to one of the most prominent Democratic media buying firms in the country. Over the past two political cycles, Grassroots has been an integral team member on several successful US Senate, US Congress and Gubernatorial races.
Mike began his political career working on Governor Ed Rendell’s successful primary race in 2002. He joined Shorr Johnson Magnus in 2002 as a part-time media assistant and by 2006 was managing its media department. While at Shorr Johnson Magnus, he was an integral part of a team that worked on numerous successful gubernatorial, senatorial, and congressional campaigns as well as multiple Political Action Committees and various other political groups. Mike also has many years of experience working on down ballot races at the state and local/municipal level. He was recently named to City and State’s Top 50 Political Consultants in Pennsylvania.
Mike is skilled in all aspects of the media planning and buying process and prides himself on giving strategic advice while being able to act fast and efficiently. A graduate of Syracuse University (B.A. Political Science, History), Mike lives outside Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
Erin Rodriguez
Media Assistant
Erin is an assistant media buyer for Grassroots Media originally from Miami, Florida. Erin joined Grassroots in 2022 and has since contributed to the success of federal, statewide, and local elections alike. She approaches her work with organization and thoroughness.
Erin graduated from Villanova University summa cum laude in 2022. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, she received an Honors Degree with a concentration in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and a minor in Sustainability Studies. During her time at Villanova, she received various accolades, such as the Villanova Liberal Arts and Sciences Christopher Dawson Medallion for Excellence in History, Honors Thesis with Distinction, and induction into academic honor societies such as Phi Alpha Theta and Phi Beta Kappa.
Gabrielle Dato
Media Assistant
Joining Grassroots Media in 2023, Gabrielle is a media assistant from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Gabrielle has been interested in politics from a young age and has worked on local, state, and federal campaigns. She takes pride in her communication skills and her ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
Gabrielle graduated from Georgetown University cum laude with a double major in Government and Art History. During her time at Georgetown, Gabrielle concentrated her studies in political theory and education policy. She aspires to contribute to political change through her work at Grassroots Media.
